Jeff/Brandy Vanwinkdle – Wedding – Part II

Below are some additional images from Jeff and Brandy’s wedding.  I will be adding more to this “wedding book” over the next few days, but here’s a few to start with.  Enjoy!  (Be sure to grab the side or corner of your image with your mouse and drag to open and turn the pages). :-)

Jeff/Brandy Vanwinkle – Wedding – Part I

These two are an absolute hoot!  I shot their wedding engagement session several months ago, and their big day was finally here.  Well … Brandy’s big day.  Lol Jeff … And I assumed that this day, like their engagement session, would be a lot of fun also.  They even busted out during their first dance with their choreographed version of a song and got a little jiggy!  It was great.  Jared from JaredBrandtMedia was the videographer and was a pleasure to work with as well.

Below are a couple of random shots from that evening.  I’ll post more in a Part II blog coming up in a day or so!  :-)

Details, details.  I’m all about shooting the intimate details of the wedding.  These were taken about an hour before the ceremony started and my goal was to capture the room from different angles before things started.

Brandy coming down the aisle with much anticipation.

Capturing Jeff’s first reaction as she arrives.  And then the emotion that overtakes Brandy as the ceremony begins.

First Day of School – 2010

Rather than complain and fall back asleep, the boys popped up rather bushy-eyed this morning.  I’m sure the excitement was bubbling in the back of their mind, yet nervousness could be observed distinctly as well.  A new teacher, new friends, ahhh … the joy of another school year.  Nick moved around a little bit slower than expected and Brad was a little bit more attentive – but I could tell they were fighting it.  And fighting it bigtime.  And oh yeah – Mom/Dad could have used another hour or two as well.

And so begins another school year with my two “down with the Daddy J” stud muffins.  Yeaaaahhhhh boyyeeeeee!  Lol … (Hey, I can still be a Dad and still get jiggy right?)   Aside from taking pictures in the classroom, I also do my annual mug shot session with my studio lights in our living room (again, with it being their first day), but I didn’t get to that this morning – look for another post on that later in the week.

So, without further ado – I present some pictures of this morning’s events in their classrooms.

First those who don’t know Brad – when gets going on something, my man is focused … and it’s all about getting the desk and his supplies organized this morning.

And finally (below), my annual “take a picture with your teacher on the first day of school” shot.  Lol …

Moving on to Nick …

Wishing you two the best this school year!  I love you both!  – Dad -

Colonial Williamsburg

The family and I had a chance to take a break from our crazy schedules and planned a fun-filled vacation in the Williamsburg, VA area.  This is one of those “bucket list” items that I’ve been wanting to visit for a while now – so we said, “let’s do this!”  We got to check out Jamestown, Yorktown, Busch Gardens, and Water County USA while we there also.  Although it was unbelievably hot — temperatures in the 99-103 range, we did manage to have a great time and I was also able to capture some great pictures for all of us to look back up on.  (I’m currently designing the photo album now which will be ordered soon).
